About the Role
We are looking for an Associate AI Systems Engineer to support the development, testing, integration, and validation of our AI runtime assurance workflows. You will work closely with senior engineers and founders to help build evaluation pipelines, deployment scripts, evidence tooling, and technical documentation for internal development and customer pilots.
As an early team member, you will work closely with the founders and have the opportunity to contribute to the product, engineering culture, and customer-facing platform as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities

Support development and testing of runtime assurance workflows, AI evaluation pipelines, and system integration components.

Assist in building and maintaining scripts for deployment, testing, data preparation, and environment setup.

Help develop evidence and trace tooling, including logs, reports, structured outputs, and validation artefacts.

Support internal validation of AI workflows, including test case execution, result checking, and issue documentation.

Assist with pilot environment setup, configuration, technical testing, and troubleshooting.

Work with engineers to integrate AI workflows with backend services, APIs, dashboards, and deployment environments.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, setup guides, testing notes, and engineering reports.

Help analyse system behaviour, AI outputs, errors, and performance results.

Contribute to software, AI, and integration workstreams across the project as needed.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI, or a related technical field.

Strong programming foundation, preferably in Python.

Basic understanding of software engineering, APIs, databases, testing, and deployment workflows.

Interest in AI systems, LLMs, automation, agentic AI, or applied machine learning.

Ability to read technical documentation, debug issues, and learn new tools quickly.

Good communication skills and ability to document technical work clearly.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
Nice to Have

Internship, project, or academic experience with AI, ML, LLMs, RAG, backend engineering, cloud, or DevOps.

Familiarity with Docker, Git, APIs, Linux, cloud services, or CI/CD.

Experience with testing, automation scripts, dashboards, or technical documentation.

Interest in cybersecurity, AI governance, enterprise systems, or high-reliability software.
