Nestria AI selected for EUSAiR AI Regulatory Sandbox Pilot

[Singapore, 18 Nov 2025] — nestria.ai, a startup building responsible and accessible AI solutions, has been selected to participate in the EUSAiR (EU Regulatory Sandboxes for AI) pilot project.
The EUSAiR initiative is a two-year, European Commission–funded program under the Digital Europe Programme. Its goal is to help implement AI regulatory sandboxes in EU member states, in alignment with the EU AI Act. These sandboxes provide controlled environments where AI systems can be tested and validated under regulatory supervision before being launched on the market.
As part of EUSAiR, Nestria AI will be able to:
Test its AI assurance platform; which helps organisations make their AI systems more reliable, secure and compliant, in a supervised environment with direct regulatory guidance.
Access technical and legal support for compliance with the AI Act
Collaborate with EU regulators, other AI providers (especially startups), and policy experts
Contribute to gathering “lessons learned” that can influence future AI regulation and sandbox design

About EUSAiR
EUSAiR is coordinated by the Italian Research Center on High Performance Computing, Big Data, and Quantum Computing (ICSC) and involves 13 partners from across Europe.
Its core objectives are to: standardize sandbox frameworks, build capacity for regulatory authorities, promote cross-border cooperation, and make these sandboxes accessible especially to SMEs and startups.
The project’s action plan includes: creating operational models for sandboxes; running pilot tests with AI providers; designing training programs for authorities; and establishing a co-creation platform for policy-feedback loops.
